About the Job

S4 Analytics is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Verification & Validation Engineer to support medical device development, system-level testing, and regulatory compliance within a complex electromechanical product environment.

Location: Plymouth, MN – Onsite

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Industry: Medical Devices / Acute Therapies

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system-level, integration, and hardware verification and validation test plans.
• Prepare test protocols, validation reports, requirements traceability matrices, and risk assessments.
• Apply statistical methods including DOE, ANOVA, capability analysis, and sample-size determination .
• Perform failure investigations, root-cause analysis, defect management, and corrective action verification.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Product Development teams.
• Support test automation, simulation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with medical device quality and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or 4+ years with an advanced Engineering degree.
• Strong experience in Systems Verification & Validation (V&V) , test planning, execution, and documentation.
• Experience with requirements traceability, risk-based testing, and technical problem-solving.
• Knowledge of DOE, ANOVA, statistical analysis, and sample-size justification .
• Experience with complex systems; medical device or electromechanical product experience highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Requirements Management: DOORS, Jama Connect, Polarion, OpenText ALM, Codebeamer.
• Data Analysis: Minitab, Python, R, MATLAB.
• Reporting Tools: Power BI, Monday.com, Smartsheet.
• Experience with Agile development, test automation, and continuous integration.
