**Job Title: Senior Tableau Developer/ Power BI Developer

Duration: 12 months** Location: Chicago, IL or Peoria, IL Job Description Summary: The main function of a specialty analyst/developer is to develop, create, and modify data and dashboards. This role will partner with a business analyst and need to assess the current landscape of dashboards, make a plan to reduce the landscape, and execute a new dashboard strategy.

Job Responsibilities Modify existing dashboards to correct errors. Analyze user future needs and execute on development requirements. Design, develop and modify data and dashboards, using marketing data, Google Analytics, Salesforce, and Tableau. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan specifications and layouts. Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine dashboard configuration. Consult with the business about dashboard design and maintenance. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.

Skills Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Knowledge of Marketing, Google Analytics, Salesforce, and Tableau. Knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of dashboards.

Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in analytics, computer science or equivalent training required. 10+ years related experience required.

Position’s Contributions To Work Group

• AKA: Tableau Developer. Creation of business critical dashboards for multiple departments. Transformation of data needed for the dashboards. Ensuring proper security models for dashboards as these will contain sensitive, high priority data

Typical Task Breakdown

• Development of new visualizations, Maintenance of existing dashboards etc., Validation of access, working with and communicating with project lead. Candidate will be expected to be on-site hybrid starting day one. In office a couple times a week. Candidates could sit in either Chicago or Peoria, but must be able to go into the office 3x a week .

Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably related to business analytics, data science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or a similar field with quantitative coursework plus 10+ years exp.

Technical Skills

(Required)

• Required: Industry standard Visualization Tools: 10+ years exp Tableau(required), Power BI (preferred) *high level visual communication skills and independence

(Desired)

• Desired: Data transformation Tools: SQL language, Snowflake, Salesforce, Google Analytics *Exp developing dashboards for large companies
