Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Team Manager – Controllership to lead financial reporting and controllership operations within a global organization. This role is ideal for an experienced finance leader with strong expertise in financial reporting, financial statement preparation, consolidation, and people management.

The successful candidate will oversee controllership activities, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, strengthen financial controls, and lead a team of finance professionals. This role will work closely with internal and international stakeholders to support reporting requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Controllership team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee the end-to-end preparation and consolidation of financial statements.
• Review financial reports, schedules, and analysis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, standards, internal controls, and company procedures.
• Drive effective financial reporting processes and controllership practices.
• Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance management to finance team members.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to address financial reporting requirements and business needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, reporting quality, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor team performance and ensure delivery against operational and business objectives.
• Support the resolution of complex accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Ensure timely completion of reporting deliverables in accordance with established deadlines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within controllership and finance operations.

Qualifications

• CPA qualification is required.
• At least 5 years of leadership or people management experience .
• At least 7 years of experience in Financial Reporting and Analysis .
• Strong experience in end-to-end financial statement preparation and consolidation.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience managing controllership or accounting operations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule.
• Amenable to a hybrid work arrangement in Parañaque City.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a global or multinational organization.
• Experience supporting international finance or controllership operations.
• Exposure to financial reporting transformation or process improvement initiatives.
• Experience working with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
• Experience with financial reporting and consolidation systems.
