About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Functional Consultant to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions for our enterprise clients. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business processes and technical execution, working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, streamline engineering workflows, and configure Siemens Teamcenter to support full product lifecycle needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering & Solution Design: Lead workshops with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to define PLM processes, translate complex business needs into functional specifications, and design end-to-end Siemens Teamcenter solutions.
• Functional Configuration: Configure Teamcenter modules, including BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE), Workflow Designer, Access Manager, Structure Manager, Change Management (ECR/ECO/ECN), Document Management, and CAD integrations.
• Process Alignment: Map product development processes to standard Teamcenter functionality, identifying customization needs only when necessary.
• Data Migration & Integration Support: Partner with technical teams on legacy data migration strategies and integrations between Teamcenter and ERP/MES/CAD systems.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Create UAT test plans, write test scripts, lead acceptance testing sessions, and manage defect resolution.
• Change Management & Training: Develop user guides, conduct end-user training, and drive adoption across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Teamcenter Functional Consultant or Business Analyst on full-lifecycle PLM implementations.
• Siemens Teamcenter Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of core modules, including:
• BMIDE (Data Modeling)
• Change Management (ECR/ECO)
• BOM / Structure Management
• Workflow Engine
• Active Workspace (AWC) configuration & user interface
• CAD/ERP Integration: Working knowledge of PLM integrations with major CAD platforms (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, Creo) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to lead workshops and interface with executive stakeholders.
• Location: Must be based in the United States and authorized to work for any employer without sponsorship.

Preferred:

• Experience with Teamcenter upgrade projects or migrations to Active Workspace.
• Background in industries such as Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Industrial Machinery, or High Tech.
• Relevant Siemens Teamcenter certifications.
