We're seeking an experienced Senior Tech Lead - Python, Java, GenAI & Machine Learning to lead the delivery of modern software solutions that combine robust engineering practices with cutting-edge AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI capabilities.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can drive technical strategy, mentor engineering teams, and deliver scalable, production-grade applications in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise-scale software applications and AI-enabled solutions.
• Drive architecture decisions across software engineering, cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, and AI technologies.
• Build and maintain cloud-native applications, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring solutions, and platform services.
• Partner with Product Managers, Data Engineers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers, data engineers, and AI engineers.
• Establish engineering best practices covering software quality, testing, security, observability, and reliability.
• Design and implement AI, GenAI, RAG, and intelligent automation solutions that solve real-world business challenges.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI technologies and transform them into scalable production solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement across architecture, engineering standards, delivery practices, and platform capabilities.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise-grade applications.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and technical initiatives.
• Strong programming skills in technologies such as:
• Python
• Java
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• JVM-based technologies
• Experience building and supporting APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, clean coding principles, testing, and code reviews.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Kubernetes
• Containerisation
• CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud-native architectures
• Experience deploying and operating scalable, secure, high-performance applications.
• Practical experience with:
• Machine Learning
• Generative AI
• LLMs
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• AI application development
• Strong understanding of software security, governance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related discipline.
