Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
• Build scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.
• Contribute to application architecture and technical design discussions.
• Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java 8/11/17.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate.
• Experience in developing REST APIs and Microservices.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and unit/integration testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
• Experience with messaging tools such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
