Senior Technical Consultant (m/f/d)

What you can expect from us:

• You support our customers in installing, integrating and operating our IT solutions in the existing IT infrastructure of production and test environments
• You will supervise software acceptance tests on site, answer technical questions, correct technical faults directly and thus ensure smooth execution
• You are the first point of contact for technical questions, take care of troubleshooting and also coordinate problem analysis with other departments

Your training takes place through internal training and several tutors. You can also deepen your knowledge through regular continuing education and expand it in new areas. Within the team, we rely heavily on direct exchange of knowledge and short lines of communication.

What convinces us:

• You have completed a technical or scientific degree (computer science, communications engineering, or a comparable degree program) or completed IT vocational training with appropriate professional experience as an IT administrator or in 3rd level support
• Ideally, you have experience as an IT consultant or in technical customer service
• You have good knowledge of operating and administering systems with Enterprise Linux and Windows servers, as well as the communication of multiple network components
• You have experience in analyzing complex IT infrastructures
• In the best case scenario, you also have knowledge of operating and administering software solutions and exchanging data via interfaces in IT systems
• You have basic knowledge of the administration of relational databases (Oracle or Postgres) and are also familiar with user administration and associated access control via rights concepts
• You are willing to travel occasionally to our customers for direct exchange and support
• You have a high level of initiative, independence, reliability and flexibility
• You have very good German language skills (at least C1 level) and good written and spoken English (at least B2 level)
