Senior Technical Lead IS - Non-Life Distributed Backend

Position Overview

We are looking for a Tech Lead (.NET / Azure) to join a backend team driving key transformation initiatives. In this role, you will lead and coach developers, run workshops to share best practices, and support solution design in collaboration with architects. You will be responsible for code quality, technical coordination across teams, and guiding application lifecycle and framework strategies. The position also involves working on Azure integration (cloud vs on-prem), supporting migration projects, improving application performance, and ensuring modernization and compliance. You will interact with a wide range of stakeholders, requiring strong communication skills. This role requires solid experience in .NET backend development (APIs and background processes), Azure integration, and team leadership.

Mission period:

Expected Start date: Asap

Duration: 12 months (Depending on project evolution, extension is possible)

Language requirement:

Fluent level of English as well as a good level of French and dutch

Business experience required:

Mandatory 

• Min. 8 years of professional experience in .NET backend (APIs and Background worker

processes)

• Min 3 years of experience with Azure Integration Services 

Preferable 

• Client data

• Insurance

• Experience with .NET Core and migration of .NET applications to recent versions 

(ex. From 6 to 8+)

Technical experience required - Mandatory ( Mid-level experience 2 to 5 years )

• Excellent technical skills in .NET C#, Entity Framework

• Strong knowledge of Azure Messaging space and Azure Active Directory

• General knowledge in IT platforms.

• Looking continuously for improvement of processes and applications

• Writing technical documentation and comfortable with leading 

workshops for developers and analysts

• Participate to performance optimization on our critical assets

• Contribute to the implementation on our delivery projects when needed 

and share code best practices 

• Informing the concerned parties in a structured and efficient way about 

the progress of the projects

• Code reviews and technical coaching for other developers

• Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel at least)

Main objectives:

·       Technical abilities to develop .NET solutions (APIs & background worker processes) 

·       Strong knowledge of Azure Integration services, especially the azure messaging spaces

·       Organize workshops to share knowledge with developers and analysts

·       Code reviews and best practices

·       Act as SPOC for all transversal technical initiatives or integrations impacting IS Non-Life

·       Help build positive team spirit.

·       Participate to technical or processes documentation

Additional objectives:

·       Ensure regular progress reporting to the Management

·       Help sharing the workload on delivery projects when it’s needed.
