Senior Technical Modeler

We are looking for a Senior Modeler with strong automotive Alias modeling experience to support an automotive design team in El Segundo, California.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7+ years of experience in automotive modeling, with hands-on experience creating both interior and exterior models for design evaluation.

What You’ll Do

• Create scale and full-size interior and exterior models for design evaluation.
• Develop models based on drawings, verbal instructions, and direction from Designers, Managers, and the Chief Designer.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure modeling requirements and design expectations are met.
• Support the development and refinement of automotive design surfaces.
• Apply manual surface development and model-making techniques throughout the design process.

Skills & Experience

• 5–7+ years of automotive modeling experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Alias.
• Experience creating automotive interior and exterior models.
• Good knowledge and understanding of manual surface development.
• Strong knowledge of model-making techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
• Experience with PowerMill is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with automotive designers and engineering teams.

Position Details

• Location: El Segundo, California
• Duration: 6-month contract
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in El Segundo, CA 90245
