About Syenta Syenta is pioneering a new era in semiconductor manufacturing with our groundbreaking Localised Electrochemical Manufacturing (LEM) technology. Our platform enables advanced packaging by combining patterning and metallisation into a single tool. We achieve high-speed, high-resolution metallisation at lower costs and energy use, while minimising emissions and waste.

Founded in Australia, we are building a world-class team of engineers and scientists tackling some of the toughest challenges in semiconductor manufacturing. Our collaborative, people-first culture empowers individuals to take ownership, innovate, and deliver breakthrough results.

About The Role Syenta is seeking a high-ownership Program Manager to directly lead and execute several critical and highly impactful company projects. In this role, you will not just facilitate but own the end-to-end project lifecycle under tight deadlines.

You will serve as the central driving force aligning multiple international departments to ensure seamless execution. This position requires an autonomous, self-directed leader who thrives within complex and dynamic ecosystems. The ideal candidate will possess the analytical mindset to proactively mitigate risks before they impact timelines.

Responsibilities Program & Project Leadership

Planning, Risk & Governance

  • Creates and manages core PM artifacts including schedules, resource forecasts, and risk/issues logs
  • Proactively identifies and mitigates risks before they impact timelines
  • Drives process and methodology improvements to increase project and team efficiency

Cross-Functional & External Coordination

  • Aligns multiple international departments (materials scientists, chemists, process engineers) to ensure seamless execution
  • Manages external supplier and fab relationships to ensure on-time delivery against program milestones

Reporting, Ownership & Continuous Improvement

  • Collects, analyzes and publishes program performance data via dashboards and status reports
  • Translates metrology and experimental data into actionable process improvements
  • Works independently with minimal supervision, taking initiative and making decisions that advance team goals

Requirements

  • 10+ years managing complex technical programs
  • Formal program/project management education. PMP certification or Scrum Master
  • Experience managing programs in semiconductor, MEMS, or advanced packaging environments
  • Experience in a startup/scale-up setting, comfortable with ambiguity
  • Experience coordinating with external fabs/foundries and managing supplier delivery schedules
  • Experience leading cross-functional, global technical teams
  • Strong technical fluency to engage credibly with process/fabrication engineers
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience reporting to executive/founder-level stakeholders

Why Choose Syenta? We're passionate about building a diverse, people-first company. Our culture of collaboration and mutual respect fuels innovation capable of redefining an industry. At Syenta, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership, lead high-impact teams, and shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing.
