About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to drive the delivery of complex technology and infrastructure initiatives within a global organisation. This role will focus on coordinating data centre deployments, application integrations and cross-functional technology projects, ensuring delivery stays on track across scope, timelines, dependencies and budgets.
You will work closely with engineering, architecture, technology operations, finance and external vendors to remove blockers, improve delivery processes and ensure all solutions are production-ready at launch. The role requires someone who can bring structure to complex programmes, communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and turn strategic objectives into clear, measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple technology projects, including data centre deployments and application integrations.
- Manage programme timelines, scope, dependencies, resources, budgets and delivery milestones.
- Establish reporting mechanisms and use delivery metrics to provide clear, data-driven updates to stakeholders.
- Identify risks, resolve blockers and drive projects towards predictable, successful delivery.
- Develop business cases for strategic infrastructure and technology initiatives.
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts and budgets, working closely with Finance on funding approvals.
- Translate business requirements into technical and operational deliverables.
- Coordinate engineering, architecture, operations and finance teams to maintain alignment across the programme.
- Manage third-party vendors and technology providers to ensure delivery against agreed plans and objectives.
- Evaluate technical considerations, including scalability, security, performance and data integrity.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve delivery efficiency and reduce unnecessary complexity.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to team development and recruitment.
About You
- 5+ years of experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes within a global organisation or similar environment.
- Proven experience delivering data centre deployments, infrastructure projects or new application deployments.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, programme dependencies and multiple vendors.
- Strong understanding of technology infrastructure and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical and senior stakeholders.
- Experience with programme financial planning, business cases, budgets and forecasting.
- Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity and drive progress with limited guidance.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent project/programme management qualification is desirable, alongside relevant practical experience.
