Job description:
We are seeking a highly accomplished, battle-tested Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to spearhead the end-to-end (E2E) testing, integration, and risk-mitigation strategy for a mission-critical enterprise initiative.
In this role, you will be the ultimate custodian of quality and Go-Live readiness. You will oversee and orchestrate the E2E testing efforts of 5 to 6 cross-functional QA teams , each led by their own dedicated QA Leads. This is a high-visibility, fast-paced role requiring a leader who is exceptionally proactive in identifying delivery risks, establishing mitigation paths, and driving cross-functional alignment to ensure our Go-Live date remains entirely intact.
The ideal candidate possesses a rare blend of deep technical program management expertise, a robust QA governance background, and the executive presence required to manage complex stakeholder dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Program-Level QA Governance & Orchestration
- E2E Testing Leadership: Oversee, align, and drive the comprehensive end-to-end testing execution across 5–6 cross-functional QA teams.
- Lead Coordination: Partner with, mentor, and orchestrate individual QA Leads to ensure consistent testing standards, environment readiness, and execution alignment.
- Release & Go-Live Readiness: Define and track the entry/exit criteria for integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Act as the final gatekeeper for quality and technical Go-Live readiness.
Proactive Risk Management & Resolution
- Risk Identification: Actively hunt for, identify, and document technical program risks, bottlenecks, environment contentions, and resource constraints before they impact the critical path.
- Hands-on Triage & Resolution: Lead daily triage sessions for high-severity issues, unblock testing dependencies, and establish concrete paths to resolution.
- Go-Live Protection: Maintain an unwavering focus on keeping the Go-Live date intact, formulating mitigation plans, and escalating critical issues to leadership with proposed solutions.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Status Reporting: Design and deliver high-impact, transparent program-level QA dashboards, metrics, and milestone reports for engineering, product, and business executive leadership.
- Cross-functional Alignment: Foster seamless communication and collaboration across engineering, product management, operations, and third-party vendor teams.
Qualifications:
Required Experience & Skills:
- Senior Program Management: 8+ years of experience managing complex, large-scale software delivery programs as a Technical Program Manager (TPM).
- QA & E2E Testing Expertise: Proven track record of managing massive-scale, multi-system integration testing (E2E), QA automation, performance, and regression cycles.
- Multi-Team Coordination: Demonstrated success in leading programs that involve managing other lead roles (e.g., orchestrating 5+ QA Leads/teams simultaneously).
- Technical Depth: Strong understanding of modern software architecture, integration technologies (APIs, microservices, cloud ecosystems), CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, Zephyr).
- Exceptional Communication: Outstanding executive presence, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to distill highly technical issues into clear business impacts.
- Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who thrives in high-pressure environments and doesn't wait for direction to identify and solve critical delivery blockers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience overseeing Go-Live and hypercare transitions for complex enterprise integrations (e.g., PLM, supply chain, digital platforms, or large-scale customer-facing systems).
- Professional Certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, CSM, or SAFe).
Education
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, or related fields.
