12-Month Contract | Dublin | €550-€580 per day

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Programme Manager to lead complex technology and infrastructure initiatives within a global technology environment. The role has a strong focus on developing and managing large-scale business cases, financial planning and programme governance , alongside the ability to understand complex technical programmes and translate them into clear business outcomes.

The successful candidate will work across technical, operational and business teams, providing strong programme management office (PMO) oversight, financial control and executive-level reporting. Experience delivering product technology programmes or data centre infrastructure initiatives would be highly advantageous.

The Role

• Lead the development and management of large-scale business cases for strategic technology and infrastructure initiatives.
• Gather, analyse and validate technical requirements, resource needs, delivery timelines, costs and expected business benefits.
• Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, forecasts and programme reporting to support investment decisions and funding approvals.
• Provide strong PMO governance, including programme planning, RAID management, dependency tracking, milestone reporting and delivery controls.
• Translate complex technical infrastructure concepts into clear business requirements, financial implications and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, architecture, product, operations, finance and external vendors.
• Monitor programme performance, proactively identify risks and dependencies, and drive corrective actions to keep delivery on track.
• Produce clear, data-driven reporting for senior management, ensuring visibility of progress, expenditure, risks and business outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve programme governance, financial control, reporting processes and delivery efficiency.

About You

You will be a commercially minded Senior Technical Programme Manager with excellent programme governance skills, strong financial and analytical capabilities, and the confidence to operate across technical and business functions.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience managing large-scale business cases, investment proposals, programme budgets and financial forecasts.
• Strong PMO skills, including programme governance, planning, RAID management, dependency tracking and executive reporting.
• Experience delivering complex technology programmes, ideally involving product technology, data centre infrastructure, infrastructure deployment or modernisation .
• The ability to understand complex technical environments and translate technical information into clear business language for senior, non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with multiple teams, senior stakeholders, finance functions and third-party vendors.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A recognised project or programme management qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2 , or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in a large, complex or global organisation.
