Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager / QA Manager to join our management team, guiding Smart TV products from development through certification and release. You will take end-to-end ownership of a team of QA Engineers and manage multiple concurrent projects. Working closely with clients, you will help ensure high-quality, market-ready products. This role owns business-critical work areas where your advice and technical expertise will guide key strategic decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Manage complex, multi-threaded workflows, including issue resolution and client communication
• Lead technical delivery across QA, engineering, certification, and release activities
• Coordinate project timelines, priorities, risks, and customer communication
• Drive testing, issue triage, release readiness, and delivery quality
• Provide direct line management and mentorship for QA Engineers

What We’re Looking For

• An experienced project manager who has successfully managed a diverse range of projects
• Strong understanding of software systems, testing, and release workflows
• Technical experience or formal qualification such as a relevant degree or project management qualification
• Clear communication and strong organisation skills
• Attention to detail and a practical problem-solving mindset
• Ability to self-manage and work independently
• Adaptable and effective in fast-paced, evolving project environments

Bonus Experience

• Experience managing QA or software engineering teams
• Prior experience with Smart TV platforms, broadcast standards, streaming applications, or connected devices
• Customer-facing delivery or consultancy experience

Additional Details

• This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time contract position, with potential opportunity for extension, subject to ongoing business requirements.
• Salary: £55,000 - £65,000, dependent on experience
