Senior Technical Recruiter, Engineering Leadership

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter, Engineering Leadership to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will own full-cycle recruiting for senior engineering leadership positions, partnering closely with hiring managers to define needs and shape search strategy. The position requires a strong grasp of technical domains, leadership hiring, and the ability to engage passive candidates with a thoughtful, consultative approach. You will also provide market insight, guide complex offer negotiations, and help ensure a consistent, high-touch candidate experience throughout the process.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for engineering managers and senior leaders
• Collaborate with hiring leaders to define the scope and expectations of roles
• Create talent maps and implement targeted search strategies
• Reach out to passive candidates and engage them in meaningful conversations
• Partner with hiring teams to assess leadership capabilities effectively
• Advise stakeholders with market intelligence and search insights
• Manage complex negotiation strategies and candidate offers
• Maintain consistent communication throughout the recruitment process

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of technical recruiting experience, especially in engineering leadership roles
• Experience in executive search or in-house leadership recruiting
• Ability to evaluate leadership roles beyond just titles
• Proven capability to manage complex offers and understand candidate motivations
• Strong sourcing skills combined with strategic judgment
• Ability to learn technical domains and adapt quickly to changing needs
• Excellent communication skills and discretion with sensitive information
