What they need
Senior Technical Solution Consultant, North America
We are seeking a strategic, influential, and commercially minded Senior Technical Solution Consultant to lead technical discovery, solution architecture, validation, and technical close for Jabra’s most complex enterprise collaboration opportunities across North America.
As a senior customer-facing technical advisor, you will help enterprise customers realize the full value of Jabra’s audio, video, and collaboration solutions. You will translate business and technology requirements into scalable, deployable solutions that integrate effectively, deliver measurable customer value, and support long-term adoption.
Working closely with Sales, Channel, Product, Services, consultants, and systems integrators, you will engage customers early in the buying journey to shape requirements, influence technical stakeholders, create preference for Jabra, and strengthen our position against competitive alternatives.
This role is critical to accelerating Jabra’s video and collaboration growth through a technology-first approach to strategic opportunities. Success requires a balance of technical depth, commercial acumen, executive presence, and a strong bias for turning complex customer challenges into winning, scalable outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead technical discovery for complex enterprise opportunities, including collaboration platforms, room environments, IT standards, security requirements, workflows, and customer success measures.
- Design and present scalable end-to-end audio, video, and collaboration solutions that connect technical capabilities to measurable business value.
- Own the technical sales process—from discovery and demonstrations through proof of concept, technical validation, and technical close.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customer IT, AV, UC, workplace technology, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
- Lead technical product conversations, virtual demos of products when required, and support proof-of-concept discussions, defining success criteria, technical configuration, stakeholder alignment, feedback, and scale recommendations.
- Partner with Account Managers, Channel Account Managers, Product, Marketing, Services, and Support, to align commercial strategy, solution design, and deployment readiness.
- Identify and resolve technical, competitive, integration, security, deployment, and adoption barriers.
- Lead technical workshops, customer presentations, executive briefings, solution demonstrations, and RFP/RFI support.
- Train and enable Jabra sellers and partners on solutions, discovery, and technical differentiation.
- Capture customer, competitive, and market insight to inform product, marketing, and go-to-market priorities.
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
- 10+ years of experience in solution consulting, sales engineering, unified communications, AV technology, workplace collaboration, IT infrastructure, or enterprise technology deployments.
- At least 5 years in a customer-facing pre-sales, solution engineering, technical consulting, or technical account leadership role.
- Experience leading complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, solution components, and integration requirements.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise collaboration ecosystems, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Cisco, or comparable platforms.
- Experience with enterprise audio/video, room systems, device management, AV/UC integration, wireless technologies, and/or B2B electronics.
- A demonstrated ability to lead pilots, proof-of-concepts, technical evaluations, and solution validation programs.
- Strong consultative discovery, solution architecture, presentation, workshop facilitation, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
- A highly competitive, commercially minded mindset and motivation to build something significant.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Communications, or a related discipline; advanced degree, certification, or equivalent experience preferred.
Travel:
Travel throughout North America for customer, partner, event, and internal business meetings. Travel may be required up to 50%.

- The anticipated total target compensation for this position is $175,000-$200,000 annually, consisting of base salary plus commission.
- Actual compensation will be determined based on a range of factors, including geographic location, role scope, relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
