Senior Technical Support Engineer

Position Objective

Provide specialized technical support and deliver training to Field Engineers, ensuring effective troubleshooting, diagnosis, maintenance, and operation of ATM equipment, as well as follow-up on regional projects and technical escalations.

Key Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate Field Engineers on equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• Provide second-level technical support and address complex technical issues on-site.
• Monitor and follow up on local and regional projects across Latin America.
• Coordinate and escalate technical incidents with headquarters.
• Update technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge bases.
• Prepare reports on training results and the technical performance of Field Engineers.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in ATM and automation.
• 1+ year of experience in a management or similar position.
• Experience in banking services is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• ATM hardware: dispensers, acceptors, card readers, printers, etc.
• Module diagnosis and repair.
• Troubleshooting and on-site problem resolution.
• Windows, IT networking, and measurement instruments.
• XFS / hardware testing.
• Multivendor, Aptra, Agilis, and Probase.
• C++ and/or Java.
• Microsoft Office.

Languages:

• English: Advanced.
