Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Technician to support engineering and maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, machine efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
• Diagnose machine faults and perform necessary repairs.
• Support machine efficiency improvement and maintenance targets.
• Develop and maintain Preventive Maintenance (PM) programmes and documentation.
• Monitor tools and spare-parts replacement data to support maintenance planning.
• Maintain breakdown records and implement corrective actions to reduce recurring issues.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs and Risk Assessments (RA).
• Follow up on daily maintenance activities and assigned engineering projects.
• Respond to urgent breakdowns, unplanned issues and maintenance emergencies.
• Comply with workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Support IL6S Progressive Maintenance, Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical or related discipline).
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in engineering, maintenance or manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good problem-solving and technical skills.
• Experience in IL6S Progressive Maintenance will be an advantage.
• Exposure to Lean, Kaizen or continuous improvement initiatives is an advantage.
• Able to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
