Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
• Diagnose and repair equipment faults, including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, gas, and plumbing systems.
• Install, test, and commission new kitchen equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain uninterrupted kitchen operations.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and spare parts inventory, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations while coordinating with kitchen staff to schedule maintenance activities with minimal operational disruption.

Job Requirement

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration/Air Conditioning (preferred). SPM holder with relevant experiences are also welcomed to apply.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of working experience in maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment such as ovens, combi ovens, fryers, grills, steamers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, and ice machines.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, gas, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Familiar with workplace safety and food hygiene requirements.
• Able to respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs.
