Senior Technician Sustaining

Seeking an experienced Senior Technician Sustaining to support production stability, equipment troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.

Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

• Perform preventive maintenance activities to ensure machines operate efficiently and minimize unexpected downtime.
• Troubleshoot and analyze machine breakdowns to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, productivity, and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams to resolve equipment-related issues and support smooth manufacturing operations.
• Maintain maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed 

• Graduate/Diploma with 3-5 years of direct experience in the electronics industry.
• Possess competencies and technical expertise acquired through hands-on professional experience relevant to the assigned role.
• Have detailed knowledge of the assigned area and a good understanding of related functions within Frontend or Backend Production operations.
• Recommend solutions to moderately complex technical problems based on data, analysis, and available information.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills, including documentation, presentations, team collaboration, and technician training.
• Perform all tasks and responsibilities expected of an Entry-Level Engineer.
• Understand performance metrics that directly impact the assigned functional area and indirectly affect related operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement programs by initiating and executing projects to enhance Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) in terms of speed, cost, and quality.
• Meet or exceed KPIs, including Availability, Reliability, Cost, and Yield targets for assigned equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize recurrence.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Support root cause analysis and drive sustainable solutions for process and equipment-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment performance, manufacturing efficiency, and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards while supporting production goals.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment documentation, and continuous improvement reports.
