Position: Senior Tender Manager / AGM - Tender & Estimation

Location: Head Office - 2nd Floor, Kapil Centre Building, Sevoke Road, 2nd Mile, Siliguri - 734001

Experience: 15-20 Years

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech - Civil / M.E. in Construction Management

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Tendering & Bidding Management:

• Overall in-charge of Tender Department at HO
• Searching, identifying and evaluating relevant tenders on portals - GeM, CPPP, MES, CPWD, BRO, State PWD, Defence e-Procurement
• Leading end-to-end tendering cycle - from NIT to submission to negotiation
• Decision making on Go / No-Go for tenders based on technical and commercial feasibility

2. Estimation, Costing & Rate Analysis:

• Detailed estimation, quantity take-off from drawings and BOQ analysis
• Preparation of detailed rate analysis for all civil, structural, finishing and infra items
• Cost estimation of materials, labour, machinery, overheads and profit margins
• Preparation of competitive and profitable cost sheets

3. Documentation & Submission:

• Preparation and compilation of all technical and financial bid documents
• Handling eligibility criteria, turnover, similar work experience, JV preparation
• Drafting covering letters, technical write-ups, methodology, construction program, manpower deployment
• EMD, Tender Fee, Bank Guarantee, Power of Attorney, Affidavits and all statutory documents
• 100% error-free online and offline submission before deadline

4. Coordination & Liaison:

• Coordination with Design, Planning, Project, Procurement and Accounts teams for data
• Coordination with Architects, Consultants, Subcontractors and Vendors for quotations
• Liaison with department officials for pre-bid meetings, site visits and queries
• Maintaining relationship with clients - CPWD, Defence

5. Team Leadership & Reporting:

• Leading a team of Tender Engineers, Estimation Engineers and Document Controllers
• Training and mentoring junior team members
• Maintaining tender MIS, tender tracking sheet, win/loss analysis
• Reporting directly to Directors with weekly tender status
• Handling post-bid clarifications, negotiations and LOA/Work Order

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
