Job Objective

The Senior Tendering & Estimation Engineer will be responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring the timely, accurate, and competitive submission of bids that align with the company’s strategic objectives and fully comply with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tender Management

Analyze and review tender documents to identify project requirements, scope, risks, and commercial considerations.

Develop a clear understanding of project scope, deliverables, specifications, and contractual requirements.

Coordinate with technical, commercial, procurement, finance, and legal departments to collect and consolidate tender inputs.

Ensure compliance with client specifications, applicable industry standards, and company policies.

Identify potential risks, opportunities, exclusions, and clarifications throughout the tendering process.

2. Bid Preparation & Submission

Lead the preparation of high-quality technical and commercial proposals.

Develop and review cost estimates, pricing, and tender calculations to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.

Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and technical/commercial information.

Review and validate received quotations and incorporate relevant data into tender pricing.

Ensure all tender submissions are complete, accurate, and submitted within the required deadlines.

Prepare tender presentations and supporting documents when required.

3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Communicate effectively with clients and relevant stakeholders throughout the tendering process.

Participate in pre-bid meetings, clarification meetings, and site visits.

Prepare and follow up on technical and commercial clarifications.

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and business partners.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

7–9 years of relevant experience in tendering, bidding, estimation, or related roles.

Previous experience in the Construction / EPC / Contracting industry is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of tendering, estimation, pricing, and bid preparation processes.

Strong analytical, negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
