Location: Sacramento, CA

Salary range: $110,000 - $160,000

Sabot Consulting is looking to hire a Senior Test Analyst to support a recently implemented state pension administration system. Will be responsible for: test planning/scheduling, defect triage and analysis, test case development, data shift coordination, system/UAT/regression testing, requirements activities, and related testing deliverables.

Requirements:

• 10+ years working as a Test Analyst with large organizations, leading or participating in technical implementation or modernization of legacy applications, including:
• Coordinating with business, functional, and technical testers to establish test execution goals and objectives.
• Defect management, including validation, follow-up, solution verification, and escalation actions for defects.
• Producing test execution and defect metrics, including burndown charts and trends.
• 10+ years reviewing, developing, and/or providing input to project deliverables/artifacts, including:
• Business Requirements and Business Rules
• Technical and Service Requirements
• Test Strategies
• Test Plans
• Test Cases
• Transition Plans
• Traceability Matrices
• 8+ years using Test Application Lifecycle Management tools such as JAMA to document functional/non-functional requirements, design specifications, test cases and defects, and provide full project traceability.
• 8+ years with large databases, including hands-on experience using and writing SQL queries to find data for testing applications or interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Test Analyst with a public pension system
• Experience as a Test Analyst leading or participating in the technical implementation of pension/retirement-related software development projects.
• 5+ designing, developing, and performing testing using automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, and ROBOT Framework.
