Senior Test Analyst

Location: Canberra, ACT or Melbourne, VIC

Contract: 12 months + 2 x 12-month extension options

Security Clearance: Current TSPV mandatory

Working Arrangements: Onsite

Bridge IT Engineering is seeking experienced Senior Test Analysts to support a Federal Government client. This opportunity will see successful candidates working in complex, security-focused ICT environments, contributing to the testing and quality assurance of critical systems and services. The successful candidates will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, identify and manage defects, and ensure solutions meet business and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute test strategies, plans, scenarios and test cases.
• Conduct system integration testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, prioritise and manage defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and technical stakeholders to understand system architecture, integrations and dependencies.
• Ensure traceability between business requirements, acceptance criteria and test outcomes.
• Produce high-quality testing documentation, reports and metrics.
• Coordinate testing activities, manage priorities and evaluate testing outcomes.
• Communicate testing progress, risks and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst within complex ICT delivery environments.
• Relevant testing certifications, such as ISTQB, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience using Jira and Confluence , including end-to-end defect management.
• Sound understanding of cloud-based environments, system integrations and downstream impacts of change.
• Experience developing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.

Security Requirements

• Candidates must hold a current TSPV security clearance.
