Senior Test & V&V Engineer

Reblade is a Danish tech startup founded in 2020, developing automated wind turbine blade repairs. We design and build drone-based robotic systems that utilize computer vision, sensors, and cloud software to deliver accurate and efficient operations and reporting workflows for some of the world’s largest wind energy operators.

We’re looking for a Senior Test & V&V Engineer to join our Hardware Team in Mørke, Denmark. You’ll work across hardware and software validation, helping ensure our product is reliable, robust, and ready for release.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the verification and validation strategy for the integrated system.
• Build and maintain automated test infrastructure, including test rigs, harnesses and the scripts that drive them.
• Write and maintain test scripts and automated test cases against the robotics and embedded software stack.
• Execute system-level, integration and regression testing, and maintain the test record.
• Analyze data produced by the system in bench testing, flight testing and field operation, and report findings.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases and results in support of the design freeze and subsequent certification work.
• Support field testing and customer demonstrations from a verification standpoint.

Essential requirements

• Degree in robotics, mechatronics, electronics or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in software-based test development. Scripting in Python or an equivalent language is required.
• Working experience with a robotics software framework, ROS2 or equivalent, including the ability to read, modify and instrument application code.
• Experience with automated testing: building test automation, continuous integration test execution, or equivalent.
• Experience testing embedded or electromechanical systems at system or integration level.
• Experience with data acquisition, logging and the analysis of test and operational data.
• Ability to work in English in a technical team.

Desirable

• Experience with UAV or other autonomous platforms.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Familiarity with requirements traceability tooling.
• Exposure to certification or regulatory verification processes.
