Senior Test Application Development Engineer (Software/ Hardware)

We are seeking a Senior Test Application Development Engineer to design and develop hardware and software testing solutions for our production lines. Since our products must undergo rigorous testing before they reach customers, we need a dynamic, self‑driven engineer to create, develop, and coordinate these test systems. 

Tasks:

• Develop hardware and software test solutions used in our production to verify Rohde & Schwarz PCBA and products, i.e power supplies, radios, spectrum analyzer.
• Create and maintain automated test applications using Python, C#, C/C++ languages.
• Collaborate with external supplier to buy off test fixture design and ensure smooth fabrication progress within the given timeline.
• Lead cross functional collaboration with production, R&D, global test engineering, and external suppliers.to ensure test solutions meet manufacturing needs.
• Validate test systems to ensure stable, safe, and error-free operation in production.
• Support Manufacturing issues and ensure continuous reliability of test packages.
• Lead small scale development projects including task breakdown, scheduling, and project reporting.
• Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and review test concepts and software to ensure quality and consistency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in test development for complex PCBA or complex electronic products.
• Strong electronics background with the ability to make complex technical decisions.
• Knowledge of RF technology is a plus.
• Experience in developing test frameworks for production qualification.
• Hands‑on experience with test‑automation tools (Python, C/C++, C#).
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Independent, self‑motivated, and results‑driven.
• Leadership and mentoring experience in a technically demanding environment.
