Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Position Description: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Selenium automation ,Playwright, test framework development, CI/CD integration, and version control practices. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
• Create and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain API automation frameworks using REST Assured.
• Perform database validation and backend testing using SQL queries.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Review requirements and participate in sprint planning, grooming, and QA activities.
• Ensure test coverage, maintain test documentation, and improve automation efficiency.
• Monitor automation execution, troubleshoot failures, and optimize test stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Must Have skills:

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Automation Testing.
• Deep understanding of Playwright features (auto-waiting, web-first assertions, trace viewer, network mocking, browser contexts).
• Experience with API automation (REST Assured) and SQL database querying.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub etc.

Good To have:

• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript for Playwright automation.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Experience with Performance Testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized test execution.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
