Senior Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain medium to complex Automated Test Equipment (ATE) applications using NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand.
• Design, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic circuits, including the creation of ATE electrical interconnect diagrams and wiring documentation.
• Participate in software design reviews and code reviews to ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and best practices.
• Integrate and support a variety of test and measurement instruments, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), NI DAQ devices, and NI PXI platforms.
• Contribute to project planning, execution, and technical problem-solving activities to support product development and manufacturing objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Telecommunications).
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in test engineering, automation, and LabVIEW-based application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand development environments.
• Solid understanding of ATE design architectures, advanced test methodologies, and measurement instrumentation.
• Ability to read, interpret, and develop electrical and electronic schematics.
• NI LabVIEW CLD or CLA certification is required.
• Experience with statistical and data analysis tools such as Minitab is preferred.
• Exposure to version control systems such as GitHub, Perforce, or SVN, and dashboard/reporting tools such as Power BI is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel for both short-term and long-term assignments in the United States, Mexico, and Malaysia.
• A valid U.S. B1 Visa is considered a strong advantage.
