- Oversee functional, integration, regression, API, end-to-end, performance, accessibility, and automated testing.
- Establish and mature test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
- Ensure requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria are complete, testable, and traceable.
- Implement risk-based testing approaches focused on critical business and technical capabilities.
- Lead defect triage, prioritization, root-cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
- Define and report quality metrics including test execution, automation coverage, defect trends, escaped defects, requirements coverage, and release readiness.
- Provide testing status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to program leadership and government stakeholders.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, demonstrations, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Support release readiness and Go/No-Go activities by providing objective evidence of system quality and outstanding risk.
- Ensure testing complies with applicable Federal security, privacy, accessibility, and technical requirements.
- Promote shift-left testing, continuous testing, and quality engineering practices throughout the SDLC.
- Identify staffing, tooling, training, and process improvements needed to strengthen the testing organization.
- Mentor testing staff and establish consistent testing practices across teams.
- Experience integrating testing activities within ITIL processes such as Change Management, Release and Deployment Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
