Senior Test Operations Manager – Semiconductor Backend / OSAT

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily Final Test production operations, ensuring smooth lot movement, test program releases, and hardware readiness.
• Monitor and improve yield performance, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), test time, and retest rates to maximize operational efficiency.
• Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and ensure successful transition from development to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
• Work closely with internal factories and OSAT partners to resolve production and test-related issues.
• Drive troubleshooting and root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Engineering teams on capacity planning, equipment forecasting, and hardware procurement.
• Lead capacity expansion projects to support business growth and production demand.
• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement culture within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, test operations, production management, or a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor test processes, equipment operations, and manufacturing planning concepts.
• Proven experience in yield improvement, OEE management, and production optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of 8D, Why-Why Analysis, and root cause methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively across multiple functions and external partners.
• Experience managing OSAT relationships and semiconductor test operations is an added advantage.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
