As part of its continued expansion in the data center business, the company is looking for an experienced engineering professional to support the testing, commissioning and delivery of critical data center infrastructure.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Testing & Commissioning Engineer to ensure that critical data center systems are properly tested, integrated and ready for safe and reliable operation before project handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate testing and commissioning activities for data center infrastructure and systems.
• Develop and review commissioning plans, test procedures, testing schedules and method statements.
• Conduct functional and performance testing to verify that systems operate according to approved designs and project specifications.
• Coordinate testing activities for critical systems, including HVAC/cooling, electrical power, UPS, generators, BMS/EMS and other MEP systems.
• Conduct Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and scenario-based testing to verify system performance under normal and failure conditions.
• Review test results, identify technical issues and coordinate with contractors, suppliers and engineering teams to resolve problems.
• Witness equipment testing and site acceptance testing where required.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis when systems do not meet required performance.
• Ensure testing and commissioning activities are properly documented, including test reports, punch lists, defect reports and commissioning records.
• Coordinate with project management, design, construction, contractors, vendors and clients throughout the commissioning process.
• Verify that systems are ready for operational handover and comply with project requirements, quality and safety standards.
• Support multiple data center projects and travel to project sites when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in testing & commissioning, data center, MEP, mission-critical facilities or related engineering environments.
• Strong experience in testing and commissioning of critical infrastructure systems.
• Good understanding of HVAC/cooling systems, electrical systems, UPS, generators, BMS/EMS and other MEP systems.
• Experience with Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and failure scenario testing is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, P&IDs and technical specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with contractors, suppliers and clients on large-scale projects is preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good command of English is required.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
