Senior Trade Compliance Specialist

The Compliance Specialist is a mid-level Trade Compliance professional responsible for leading complex origin determination and preference qualification activities across Asia operations. This role leads and manages the cross-border projects operations and serves as a subject matter resource on preferential and non-preferential origin requirements, preparation of documentation, handling export license administration, import duty calculation, support RFQ audits and custom brokerage reviews and updates of regulations from different countries in Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preferential and non-preferential origin determinations.
• Preparation of documentation for the COO
• Maintain and support Preference Determination processes.
• Support export license administration and documentation
• Support supply chain audits like AEO, regulatory inquiries, and compliance assessments.
• Provide guidance to Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customs stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory developments relating to FTAs and origin rules.
• Support import duty calculation
• Support import and export custom activities
• Support RFQ, review custom brokers and audits
• Analyze compliance risks, identify process gaps, and support development and implementation of corrective actions and process improvements.
• Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of customs and trade compliance procedures, work instructions, internal controls, and compliance documentation.
