Senior Training Manager

The Sr. Training Manager leads the Tacloban training team, managing ramp programs and multiple training initiatives. This senior-level role requires extensive experience (typically 7+ years) as a Training Manager, strong leadership and team management skills, and deep expertise in curriculum design, including needs analysis and instructional design methodologies. The Sr. Training Manager partners with program stakeholders at a strategic level, collaborates with the Quality Team on training interventions, and rigorously evaluates training effectiveness to ensure rapid proficiency and measurable business impact. This position reports to the Training & Quality Director.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead, mentor, and develop the Tacloban training team, fostering a high-performance culture.

· Oversee ramp training programs and manage complex, concurrent training initiatives.

· Partner with program stakeholders at a strategic level to identify training needs and develop comprehensive learning solutions aligned with business objectives.

· Collaborate with the Quality Team to execute training interventions and drive continuous improvement in training programs and processes.

· Design, develop, and update training curricula and materials, incorporating best practices in adult learning and instructional design.

· Evaluate training effectiveness using a variety of metrics, analyze data, and implement adjustments to optimize speed to proficiency and demonstrate ROI.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

· 7+ years of experience as a Training Manager, with a proven track record of success.

· Exceptional leadership and team management skills, including coaching and mentoring.

· Deep expertise in curriculum design, needs analysis, and instructional design methodologies.

· Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, including budget and resource management.

· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to influence and persuade.

· Proven ability to evaluate training effectiveness and measure business impact, including experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
