Senior Training Officer

Job Summary

The Training Officer is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training programs to enhance employees’ knowledge, skills, and competencies in alignment with the organization’s goals and strategies. This role also involves monitoring and evaluating training effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrated ability to design and develop comprehensive training programs and curricula, delivered through structured documentation, instructional videos, and e-learning platforms.
• Develop and implement annual training plans aligned with organizational objectives
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across departments
• Design, develop, and coordinate internal and external training programs
• Liaise with internal departments, trainers, and external training providers
• Organize employee orientation and onboarding programs
• Prepare training documentation, reports, and evaluate training effectiveness
• Maintain training records and employee training hours in compliance with requirements
• Support HR activities and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
• Able to develop training materials in video and multimedia formats
• Experience in training or human resource development will be an advantage
• Strong communication, presentation, and coordination skills
• Good planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
