Senior Transformation Project Manager - Finance - CDI/Freelance

Context

A depositary bank in Luxembourg (UCITS and AIF funds) is looking for a Senior Transformation Project Manager to support management and teams in redesigning its depositary control processes: making them more efficient and digital, while strengthening compliance with regulatory requirements. Long-term mission.

Missions

• Map the current depositary control processes
• Diagnose inefficiencies: measure cycle times, identify redundant and non-value-added tasks between teams
• Redesign and simplify the targeted processes, removing redundancies and aligning with best-in-class standards (Lean, Six Sigma, Straight-Through-Processing)
• Build a technology-led transformation roadmap: identify processes to automate (RPA, workflow engines) and follow the implementation of the chosen solution
• Quantify expected benefits: cost reduction, processing time, error reduction, compliance uplift
• Define and run the change management strategy: up-skill staff, embed new ways of working, ensure sustainable adoption of digital tools

Working Conditions

• Contract: Freelance, CDI or CDD: we will find a solution as long as you are the right candidate
• Location: Luxembourg, on site (no remote work)
• We are looking for people ready to relocate and work in Luxembourg
• Salary / daily rate: depending on profile

1. 10+ years of experience in project and change management, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional change programmes in regulated financial environments (depositary bank, fund administration, asset servicing)
2. Expertise in process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma): process diagrams, value-stream maps, KPI dashboards; certification is a plus
3. Hands-on experience with digital transformation and automation: RPA platforms, workflow / orchestration tools, AI solution implementation
4. Strong stakeholder management, from senior business leaders and IT architects to operational staff
5. Excellent communication: able to analyse, synthesise and translate technical concepts into business language
6. Self-starter, energetic, takes ownership and drives issues to resolution
7. Fluent English and French
8. Ready to relocate and work on site in Luxembourg
