Senior Treasury Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Treasury Analyst to join our finance team. Duties

• Develop and maintain complex financial projection models to forecast cash flows, liquidity needs, and investment opportunities using Excel, VBA, SQL, and other financial data analysis tools.
• Conduct in-depth financial data analysis to interpret financial statements, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets for accurate reporting and strategic insights.
• Utilize business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and Hyperion to visualize data trends and present actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Manage treasury operations within ERP systems and accounting software to ensure accurate cash management, bank reconciliations, and compliance with corporate accounting standards.
• Perform quantitative financial analysis including cost accounting, cash flow analysis, and profitability assessments to support budgeting and strategic planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on investment banking projects, governmental accounting requirements, and financial modeling for new business ventures or acquisitions.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and documentation that clearly communicate complex concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of financial expertise.
• Support treasury-related audits by maintaining meticulous records of all transactions, compliance documentation, and internal controls.

Experience

• Proven experience in corporate finance or treasury roles with a focus on financial analysis, modeling, or strategic planning.
• Extensive proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables), SQL queries, VBA programming for automation tasks, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts such as profit & loss management, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and cost accounting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), Hyperion or similar financial planning software is highly desirable.
• Background in investment banking or governmental accounting provides valuable insight into complex financial transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets using advanced data collection techniques and interpret financial statements accurately.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clear financial reports and present findings confidently to diverse audiences.
• Strong quantitative research skills combined with a keen business acumen to support strategic decision-making processes.
