Senior Turnover Engineer (Contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the Commissioning & Start-up Department operations in accordance with objectives, strategic plans, and departmental efficiency. Oversee quality control, commissioning tests, and system handover activities.
• Plan and forecast resource utilization, including manpower, tools, and equipment in the Commissioning & Start-up Department, ensuring alignment with current and future workloads efficiently.
• Develop and continuously improve internal work systems within the Commissioning & Start-up Department to maximize efficiency.
• Define and evaluate employee competency within the Commissioning & Start-up Department, plan, monitor, assess the effectiveness of competency development, and implement continuous improvements.
• Set performance objectives and evaluate employee performance within the Commissioning & Start-up Department.
• Act as a mentor, providing guidance and coaching to employees in the Commissioning & Start-up Department.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, or other related fields.
• Experiennce: At least 5 years of experience in commissioning and start-up activities, with proven experience in construction management and quality control in petrochemical plants, oil refineries, polymer plants, or related industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Project Management systems and methodologies.
• Proven ability in project administration, planning, coordination, and demonstrating strong leadership skills.
• Good understanding of relevant Codes and Standards applicable to construction and petrochemical/oil & gas industries.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 management systems.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and SAP.
• Good command of the English language (spoken and written).
• High level of integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct.
