About the Role

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our Cairo-based team on a part-time basis. The role is primarily remote, but you should be open to visiting our Cairo office occasionally if required—for example, during onboarding, sprint planning, or team workshops.

You will work during our midday core hours (12–4 PM Cairo time) to ensure seamless collaboration with our in-house team, helping us design intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across our product and service portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• User Research & Strategy: Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and translate insights into user flows and journey maps.
• UI Design: Create high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications using Figma.
• Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes to test and validate design concepts before development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Cairo-based product managers and developers during the midday shift via virtual meetings (and in-person on occasional office days).
• Iteration: Refine designs based on user testing, data analysis, and stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

• Proven Experience: 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design (portfolio required).
• Tool Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Figma (Sketch/Adobe XD are a plus).
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a user-centric design process and problem-solving skills.
• Availability: Must be available to work during midday Cairo time (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM GMT+2) .
• Flexibility: Open to visiting the Cairo office occasionally if required (advance notice will be given).
• Communication: Excellent communication skills in English (Written and spoken).
• Mindset: Strong attention to detail, empathy for users, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Experience with SaaS platforms, dashboard design, or e-commerce.
