Senior Underwriter

JCW is recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing MGA seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to join their team on a Fully Remote basis.

This role provides the opportunity to underwrite and grow a specialty employment liability portfolio, with responsibility for managing accounts from submission through quote, bind, and renewal. The ideal candidate will have a strong EPLI underwriting background, sound risk selection and pricing judgment, and the ability to build broker relationships. This is a ground-floor opportunity in an entrepreneurial environment where your work directly shapes the book.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite EPLI submissions from quote through bind and renewal.
• Evaluate risks, price accounts, and structure retentions, coverage extensions, and terms.
• Work with leadership on underwriting guidelines, program strategy, and growth.
• Support a package program covering GL, auto, excess, and professional lines as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EPLI underwriting experience required.
• Existing broker relationships in EPLI are a plus.
• Staffing experience is a plus
