Senior Unity 3D Developer

Role overview

At Arnia Software, we’re building a new Unity 3D team to work alongside our existing teams on digital experiences designed for children around the world.

This is a chance to join a team taking shape within an established engineering environment, where you’ll collaborate with our colleagues across different disciplines, contribute your ideas, and help turn concepts into engaging digital products.

From bringing interactive experiences to life to tackling technical challenges around performance, security, and maintainability, your work will make a difference throughout the product lifecycle, from implementation to post-release support.

What you’ll do

• Build digital experiences: Take ownership of the technical implementation of digital consumer experiences using Unity 3D.
• Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, Developers, and Test Engineers to deliver product features and solutions.
• Support products after release: Operate and maintain applications once they are live, helping ensure their continued reliability.
• Translate requirements into solutions: Analyse customer requirements and assess technical feasibility, taking time and cost constraints into account.
• Communicate technical challenges: Explain technical issues clearly to stakeholders across your team and collaborate on finding practical solutions.

What you’ll bring

• Strong C# skills and solid knowledge of Unity 3D, including UI, Streaming Assets, WebRequests, and related Unity capabilities.
• A good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and familiarity with current design and architectural patterns.
• Knowledge of API design and development.
• Experience creating plugins and integrating third-party libraries.

Nice to have

• Experience with native mobile development on iOS or Android.
