This is a highly product-focused engineering environment where frontend engineers work closely with business users to solve complex workflow challenges through modern, data-rich applications. The focus is on building intuitive, high-performance interfaces that make complex information easier to understand and improve how users interact with critical business systems.

As a UI Engineer, you will take ownership of frontend applications used across a sophisticated, fast-paced technology environment. Working closely with engineers and business stakeholders, you will build and enhance applications that support complex workflows and data-driven decision-making.

You will have the opportunity to shape frontend architecture while delivering reliable, responsive user experiences. The role is suited to an engineer who combines strong React and TypeScript expertise with a genuine interest in product development and solving challenging engineering problems.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and ongoing improvement of key frontend applications supporting complex business workflows.
• Build scalable, high-performance user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Translate business requirements into intuitive and efficient user experiences.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and distributed systems, working across the stack where needed.
• Develop interfaces that present complex data clearly and respond effectively to changing information.
• Improve frontend architecture and reusable components to support long-term maintainability.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across rendering and application state management.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and business stakeholders to deliver new functionality and improve existing applications.
• Take ownership of technical decisions while maintaining high standards for code quality and testing.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience building production applications with **React and TypeScript**.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another STEM discipline.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building complex, production-grade frontend applications with a strong focus on usability and performance.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and component design, with experience managing application state.
• Experience integrating user interfaces with backend APIs or distributed systems.
• Ability to diagnose performance issues and build maintainable, well-tested software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of projects from initial requirements through to delivery.
• Comfortable working closely with engineers and business users in a fast-paced environment.
• A product-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in building high-quality user experiences.
