Senior Utilities & Facility Supervisor

About the role

Responsible for supervising and controlling all utilities and facilities operations to ensure stable supply, high system reliability, safety, legal compliance, and energy efficiency to support manufacturing operations. Ensures preventive and corrective maintenance execution, manages utilities systems performance, coordinates with external authorities, and ensures compliance with Quality, Safety, Environment, and Energy Saving requirements as well as applicable laws and industrial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and control the operation and maintenance of all utilities systems, including electrical distribution, generators, UPS, compressed air, water supply, wastewater treatment (WWTP), HVAC, chiller, cooling tower, LPG, fire protection, and renewable energy systems.
• Ensure continuous, safe, and reliable utilities supply to support production and plant operations.
• Plan, manage, and control Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and shutdown activities.
• Utilize CMMS to manage work orders, maintenance history, inspections, and performance analysis.
• Supervise maintenance of buildings and infrastructure such as roofs, floors, drainage systems, roads, and surrounding facilities.
• Lead troubleshooting and emergency response for utilities system failures and support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
• Manage and lead utilities supervisors, technicians, and outsourced manpower, including daily work planning and quality control.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to improve technical skills and safety awareness.
• Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and external parties for maintenance, improvement, and expansion projects.
• Control spare parts inventory and support maintenance budget planning and cost control.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in utilities and facilities operation and maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience managing supervisors and/or technicians.
• Strong technical knowledge of utilities systems such as electrical, HVAC, compressed air, water and wastewater systems, chiller, cooling tower, fire protection, and energy systems.
• Experience in PM/CM planning, shutdown control, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of industrial safety, environmental, legal, and energy management requirements.
• Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using CMMS and basic computer applications (MS Office).
• Experience working with government authorities and external agencies is an advantage.
