Senior UX/UI Designer (AI-Driven)

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to take ownership of end-to-end design for a B2B LegalTech platform spanning web and mobile. You’ll play a vital role in evolving the product from Figma-based design work to AI-assisted UI generation powered by a token-first design system, ushering in a new era of intelligent and scalable design.

What you’ll do

• Unify the platform experience: Simplify navigation, information architecture, and core workflows across multiple product areas.· Improve onboarding + activation (PLG): Accelerate Time-to-First-Value using guided setup, templates, empty states, and user engagement features. Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize the onboarding funnel.
• Design AI-powered workflows: Create plan → act → confirm loops with human-in-the-loop permissions, auditability, and flexibility.· Ship across web + mobile: Design robust mobile workflows that work even in offline/low-connectivity scenarios, handle sync conflicts, and ensure error recovery.
• Contribute to the design system: Evolve a scalable, token-first design system for web/iOS/Android platforms. Drive consistency and ensure governance for contributions.
• Run research to inform the design: Conduct practical usability testing (heuristics, task-based, first-click, etc.), card sorting, journey mapping, and analytics-based decision-making to back your designs.
• Communicate effectively: Clearly communicate through concise one-pagers, decision memos, and stakeholder updates. Lead design reviews focusing on trade-offs and outcomes.

Must-haves

• 7–10+ years product design experience in B2B SaaS with complex workflows and data-heavy UI.
• Experience leading large UX efforts (platform consolidation, major IA redesign, or redesign at scale).
• Demonstrated success improving onboarding/activation with measurable outcomes.
• Strong design system experience (components, tokens, governance) and close partnership with engineering.
• Comfort designing for integrations and enterprise needs (permissions, roles, identity/auth flows, error states).
• Solid research craft and ability to translate findings into shipped improvements.
• Excellent written communication (briefs, decision memos, clear rationale).
• Familiarity with ShadCN / design-to-code workflows / atomic design.
• The “AI-driven UI” requirement (important)
• You should be willing to move beyond static mockups and Use AI tools to accelerate UI exploration, variants, and production work.
• Design system-first (tokens/components/patterns) so UI can be generated consistently and implemented quickly.
• Collaborate tightly with engineering so outputs are build-ready, not just visually polished.

Nice-to-haves

• Legaltech/fintech experience (billing, invoicing, compliance-heavy UX).
• Ability to read API docs; basic SQL for self-serve analysis.
• NN/g coursework or equivalent specializations.
