Marathon TS is seeking an experienced VDI Engineer to support an intelligence community customer in Springfield, VA or Arnold, MO. This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance and offers the opportunity to support a large-scale, globally accessible virtual desktop infrastructure within a mission-critical environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise VDI environments, with a strong background in system integration, identity lifecycle management, and process automation. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, a commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing virtual desktop solutions. Job Description

• Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators in order to resolve VDI issues.
• Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability and act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.
• Offers endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks on Virtual Desktop related tasks.
• Maintains an Advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies.
• Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.

Required Qualifications

• Experience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products.
• 5+ years of experience with BS degree or a combination of years of experience and education.
• Progressive roles from Administrator to Sr. Engineer.
• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later.
• Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS).
• Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
• Citrix Netscaler / Client / VPX.
• Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM).
• Citrix App Layering.
• Liquidware Profile Unity.
• Hyper V, VMWare VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs).
• Familiar with Client AnyConnect and Leostream.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering
• Experience with Infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• System Center Virtual Machine Manager/Vmware Vcenter 6.7
• Active Directory/ Group Policies
• Home Directory and Profile management Support Services
• Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services

Pay: $140,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
