Senior Video Editing & Content Creation Trainer

Key Responsibilities

• Train students in professional video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and industry-standard post-production workflows.
• Teach end-to-end content creation, including ideation, scripting, storyboarding, shooting, editing, and publishing.
• Develop practical skills in cinematography, camera operation, composition, lighting, shot selection, and visual storytelling.
• Train students to create high-performing Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, long-form YouTube videos, vlogs, advertisements, branded content, and promotional films.
• Teach advanced editing techniques, pacing, continuity, sound design, colour correction, and colour grading.
• Introduce motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects.
• Train students in platform-specific formats, aspect ratios, subtitles, hooks, audience retention, and content repurposing.
• Integrate AI-powered tools into editing and content production workflows to improve speed and productivity.
• Assign real-world projects, evaluate student work, and mentor students in portfolio and showreel development.
• Keep training aligned with current industry practices, client expectations, and employer requirements.

Essential Industry Skills

• Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, professional timelines, multicamera editing, transitions, continuity, and finishing.
• Content Creation: Concept development, scripting, storytelling, hooks, audience engagement, and content planning.
• Cinematography: Camera settings, lenses, framing, composition, lighting, and shooting techniques.
• Social Media Content: Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, long-form videos, vlogs, ads, and branded content.
• Post-Production: Colour correction, colour grading, audio cleanup, sound design, subtitles, and export optimisation.
• Motion Graphics: Adobe After Effects, titles, typography, and animated graphics.
• AI-Assisted Production: Practical familiarity with AI tools for video generation, captions, audio, editing assistance, and workflow automation.
• Professional Delivery: Understanding of briefs, revisions, deadlines, quality standards, and client feedback.

Candidate Requirements

• 8–10 years of relevant professional industry experience in video editing, content production, or post-production.
• Strong practical expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and end-to-end video production.
• Demonstrable experience creating content for digital platforms, brands, agencies, or production houses.
• A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating professional editing and content creation work.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts through practical demonstrations and projects.
• Previous training, mentoring, or team leadership experience will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
