Senior Video Editor

Role & responsibilities

• Edit high-quality Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social media videos.
• Create engaging video content for doctors, hospitals, brands and other clients.
• Take ownership of videos from raw footage to final delivery.
• Develop strong hooks, pacing, transitions, captions, animations and visual storytelling.
• Create motion graphics and text animations using After Effects.
• Perform basic color correction, color grading and audio enhancement.
• Understand creative briefs and independently translate them into strong video edits.
• Suggest creative improvements and new editing styles where required.
• Work closely with the content and digital marketing team.
• Handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Implement feedback and revisions efficiently.
• Explore and implement new editing techniques, AI tools and emerging video trends.
• Maintain organized project files and editing assets.
• Mentor or support junior editors when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-3 years of professional experience in video editing.
• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Good working knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics.
• Experience creating Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and social media videos.
• Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, transitions, typography and visual composition.
• Knowledge of color correction/grading and audio editing.
• Experience working with multiple projects or clients simultaneously.
• Ability to independently understand a brief and deliver a finished video.
• Strong creative thinking and attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling feedback and multiple revisions.
• Willingness to experiment with AI tools and new video production technologies.
• Good time management and ability to work under deadlines.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period preferred.
• Strong portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
