Senior Video Editor

Role & responsibilities

• Edit high-quality long-form and short-form video content for YouTube, Instagram, Meta Ads, and other digital platforms.
• Handle a wide range of content including ad films, branded content, podcasts, corporate videos, testimonials, reels, and performance marketing creatives.
• Take ownership of storytelling, pacing, editing style, and overall creative execution during post-production.
• Proactively suggest creative improvements, editing approaches, music, transitions, and visual treatments to enhance the final output.
• Create and integrate motion graphics, text animations, transitions, visual effects, and other design elements.
• Handle sound design, music selection, basic colour correction, and overall audio-visual quality.
• Collaborate with directors, graphic designers, project managers, and creative teams to execute projects effectively.
• Manage the complete post-production workflow from receiving footage to final delivery.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery without compromising quality.
• Organise project files, footage, assets, backups, and edit structures professionally.
• Handle client feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining the creative direction of the project.
• Conduct final quality checks and ensure all deliverables meet the required technical and creative standards.
• Maintain consistency with client brand guidelines and visual language across different projects.
• Use Gen-AI tools and emerging technologies in day-to-day editing and post-production workflows to improve efficiency and creative output.
• Stay updated with new editing techniques, AI tools, platform trends, and content formats.
• Support junior editors and contribute to improving the overall post-production workflow and standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Good knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics
• Understanding of color correction and sound design
• Strong storytelling and visual sense
• Ability to use Gen-AI tools in day-to-day tasks
• Ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and creative thinking
