Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content for marketing, social media, and educational purposes. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, storytelling abilities, and the ability to handle a high volume of editing work, with an expected output of 4–5 videos per day, depending on video length and complexity, while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into professional, engaging, and visually appealing videos.
• Edit and deliver 4–5 videos daily, maintaining quality, creativity, and consistency.
• Perform video cutting, sequencing, transitions, colour correction, and audio enhancement.
• Add text, captions, subtitles, background music, and sound effects as required.
• Create content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos, LinkedIn, websites, and digital advertisements.
• Incorporate basic motion graphics and visual effects where necessary.
• Ensure consistency in video quality, branding, pacing, and storytelling.
• Collaborate with the Marketing, Content, and Creative teams to understand project requirements.
• Review and revise videos based on feedback while meeting daily deadlines and content schedules.
• Organize and maintain raw footage, project files, graphics, audio, and final exports.
• Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms, formats, and aspect ratios.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in professional video editing.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Good understanding of editing techniques, colour correction, audio mixing, transitions, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to create engaging short-form and long-form video content.
• Knowledge of subtitles, typography, sound design, and basic motion graphics.
• Strong attention to detail and creative thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, handle high-volume editing, and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating social media and digital marketing content.
• Experience in EdTech, corporate, promotional, or educational video editing.
• Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media trends.
• Ability to understand creative briefs and convert them into engaging video content.
