Senior Vision Algorithm Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Deep Learning Engineer to own state-of-the-art vision models from first idea to production deployment. You'll join the R&D team behind our core inspection portfolio, solving real-world visual problems on one of the most unique vehicle-imaging datasets in the industry.

A Day in the Life & How You'll Make an Impact:

• Invent, don't just implement. You'll design novel, robust and efficient deep learning algorithms for hard vision problems: detecting subtle defects across thousands of vehicle makes, models and conditions.
• Take ideas all the way to production. You'll build PoCs for new products and turn research-grade prototypes into scalable systems running in live customer sites worldwide.
• Let the data lead. You'll benchmark and profile models on large-scale proprietary datasets and drive data-centric AI practices such as active learning and smart data curation.
• Make it fast in the real world. You'll partner with the MLOps, infrastructure, and hardware teams to shape our technology roadmap and optimize models for real-time inference on edge and cloud.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of industry experience developing, optimizing and deploying deep learning models in production
• Hands-on experience with core computer vision tasks: object detection, classification and segmentation
• Strong understanding of modern architectures, including CNNs and Vision Transformers (ViTs)
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with PyTorch (or TensorFlow)
• Independence and self-drive in ambiguous, unexplored problem spaces

What Will Make You Stand Out

• 3D perception, multi-view geometry, or anomaly detection
• Tracking, re-identification, image retrieval, pose estimation, OCR, or image registration
• Diffusion models or generative AI for vision
• C/C++, and edge optimization experience (TensorRT, ONNX, quantization)
• Active learning or other data-centric AI methodologies
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Fluency with AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Codex) to accelerate research and coding
