Become a Key Player as a Senior Warehouse Associate - Sit Down Clamp Operator

You will keep daily warehouse operations running smoothly by handling inbound and outbound freight, operating sit-down forklifts, and ensuring shipments are processed accurately and on time. You will work primarily onsite on the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri 3:30pm–12:00am) with occasional Saturdays and possible overtime, collaborating with warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics coordinators to meet client expectations.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

• Receive, offload, and load vehicles and containers safely and without damage.
• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and hand jacks to move and palletize cargo.
• Match paperwork to freight, sign off Bills of Lading, verify counts, and report discrepancies or damages.
• Prepare outbound loads: labeling, ULD preparation, and staging for shipment.
• Use warehouse booking-in sheets or the Warehouse Management System to maintain organization and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain general housekeeping and site cleanliness standards.
• Execute quality expectations per SOPs, including reworking or recouping freight as required.
• Assist with training new staff and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• At least 18 years old.
• Minimum 6 months of previous warehouse operations experience with this organization.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods, frequently bend, twist, reach, and periodically lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating forklifts (sit-down) and familiarity with loading/unloading procedures.
• Ability to work the specified 2nd shift schedule and flexible hours as needed.

Here's What Else Might Help You Out

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior external warehouse or freight forwarder experience.
• Familiarity with Bills of Lading, shipping manifests, and delivery orders.
• Ability to speak Spanish.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and standard operating procedures (SOP) development.

Pay Range

$20.50/hour
